Pregnancy in the Workplace

The law is designed to protect pregnant women and new mothers at work. As an employer, you must carry out a risk assessment of any working conditions or processes that might jeopardise the health and safety of the mother or baby.

The health and safety awareness course will help those who employ workers who may become pregnant or those looking to start a family. It is a guide to those processes which should be undertaken.

The course is divided into 4 sections:
