Under the Health and Safety ay Work Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, employers and managers are required to look at the tasks carried out in the workplace and assess the risks involved in undertaking those tasks.
Those with five or more employees need to record those risks in a risk assessment document. In order to prepare that document, even in a small business, a manager will need to have a clear understanding of the law, and their responsibilities and how to document the risks in their business or company.
This health and safety training risk assessment course will provide information on how to identify a risk and a hazard and how to conduct a workplace risk assessment.
