Computer Health and Safety Training
Computers have taken over our lives. Love them or hate them, we all need them for today’s business activities. However, there are very specific regulations governing the set up and use of computers.
General rules for all electrical appliances also cover computers, but the use of computers also generates additional health and safety issues that should be addressed from installation. For example –
- ergonomics and back strain.
- repetitive strain injury.
- sight strain.
Anyone responsible for setting up, managing or indeed working with computers should be aware of potential hazards, and the responsibilities of all parties. This is an essential course for all managers and supervisors responsible for office computer areas.
